AI that works inside every case, right beside your team.
Ask SC is the AI agent built into SimplyConvert. Open it next to any case and it already knows the record, the documents, and the history. Ask a question or hand it the next task, and approve every change before it's made.

Two things. Copperkettle Regional hasn't returned the records requested Jun 18, and the wage-loss letter isn't on the case yet.

Capabilities
Hand off the busywork, and keep the judgment
Ask SC takes on the reading, searching, and first drafts that fill your team's day, on one case or across your whole caseload.
-
Stop reading a file from page one. Ask SC tells you where a case stands, finds the detail you need in the documents, and points you to the page it came from.
- Case summaries: Where the case stands, what changed, and what's next.
- Cited document search: Find the answer across every upload, with the file and page it came from.
- Focused questions: Narrow the context to notes, tasks, or specific documents for a sharper answer.
-
When the next step is obvious, let Ask SC draft it. It writes from the case record, in your firm's voice, and every draft waits for your review.
- Client messages: Draft emails, texts, and portal messages that reference the actual case.
- Tasks and notes: Create and assign the work that should happen next.
- Case updates: Propose field changes from what the documents say.
- Document organization: Rename uploads and file them into the right folders.
-
Ask the question you'd normally answer with an hour of filtering and a spreadsheet. Ask SC searches across your cases, builds the view for you, and can make the same change to a group of cases once you approve it.
- Plain-English questions: “Which trucking cases have depositions this month?”
- Filters set for you: Ask SC sets the filters, sort, and columns on your case table.
- Batch changes: Update up to 50 cases at a time, with one approval.

Other legal AI visits your client's data. Ask SC lives with it.
Day one
When a case starts at intake, Ask SC knows it from the first conversation, not from the day it was handed over.
Most legal AI is added on top of systems it doesn't own. Client records get copied out, processed somewhere else, and synced back, and every hop is another vendor to vet and another copy of sensitive data to govern.
Ask SC is built into SimplyConvert and works in the same live record your team uses, not a synced copy. When a case starts with the Instant Case Evaluator, that record begins with the first conversation, so Ask SC sees the whole story.
Fewer copies, fewer vendors, and one record your team and your AI share.
You stay in control of every case
Ask SC does the legwork. Your team keeps the judgment, the sign-off, and the final word on every case.
Approval before any change
Case updates, new tasks and notes, and every email, text, or portal message wait for your approval. Edit the draft or reject it outright.
Answers you can check
Answers cite the document and page they came from, so verifying takes a click, not a re-read of the file.
Your permissions, nothing more
Ask SC works with the access of the person asking. It can't see or change a case that person couldn't.
Never used to train AI
Your documents, prompts, memories, and skills are never shared with other firms and never used to train AI models.
Open it wherever the work is
The same assistant and the same conversation history, wherever you are in SimplyConvert.
Beside any case
Press ⌘I on a case and Ask SC opens next to it, already scoped to that client. Upload a police report and ask it to update the case; it shows you exactly which fields will change before anything is saved.

Teach it how your firm works
Your firm has its own checklists, templates, and ways of doing things. Give Ask SC the same playbook your best people follow, and it uses it every time.
Skills
- demand-readinessCompany
Check a case against the firm's demand checklist and list what's missing.
- deposition-prepCompany
Build a prep outline from the case notes, records, and prior testimony.
- weekly-docket-reviewUser
Summarize what moved on my cases this week and what's overdue.
Skills for your playbooks
Turn a procedure into a skill anyone can run by typing a slash: a demand checklist, deposition prep, a weekly docket review. Share it with the firm or keep it for yourself.
Memories
Facts and preferences the assistant recalls in new chats.
Memories that carry over
Ask SC remembers your preferences in every new conversation, like who handles records follow-up or how you like client messages written.
Reference documents
Firm-wide documents that give the assistant background context in chat. These are not tied to a specific case.

Personal injury
Know where a case stands before the call, draft the follow-up while it's fresh, and keep records, treatment, and demands moving without chasing every file.

The questions attorneys and operations leads ask most.
Still have a question?
Bring a real question from your caseload and watch Ask SC answer it, then draft the next step.
Is Ask SC a separate product we have to connect? +
No. Ask SC is built into SimplyConvert and works on the same case record as the Instant Case Evaluator, CaseHQ Client Portal, CaseHQ Client Management System, Mass Torts 360, and ResolutionHQ. There's nothing to sync and no second copy of your cases to manage.
Can it change a case or contact a client on its own? +
No. Ask SC can read and search on its own, but every change waits for approval: case updates, tasks, notes, document moves, and every email, text, or portal message. You can edit the draft, reject it, or approve it.
Does Ask SC give legal advice? +
No. Ask SC doesn't practice law. It won't file anything, advise a client, or make a judgment call for your firm. It finds information, drafts, and organizes, and your team decides what happens next.
Is our firm's data used to train AI models? +
No. Your documents, prompts, memories, skills, and anything Ask SC produces are never shared with other firms and never used to train AI models.
Who can see what through Ask SC? +
Ask SC works with the permissions of the person using it. Staff can only ask about cases they can already see, and conversations stay with the person who started them. Skills can be shared with the whole firm or kept private.
How accurate are the answers? +
Answers come from your case data and documents, and they cite their sources so you can verify them. Like any AI, Ask SC can make mistakes, and its answers are only as good as the data on the case. Firms that keep structured fields current get the most precise answers.
Can we make it follow our firm's procedures? +
Yes. Turn your checklists and procedures into skills, upload reference documents like style guides and case criteria, and let each person save memories about how they work. Ask SC uses them every time.

“Our firm has used SimplyConvert's platform since inception. We have access to data and analysis that previously couldn't even be considered. From this, we've not only become more efficient, but we've developed into better counselors for our clients because our response time is quicker and our ability to discern and analyze problems is more robust. The system continues to adapt and improve, which gives us comfort in knowing that we're always progressing.”
Tyler Schneider

“I wholeheartedly recommend SimplyConvert for the plaintiffs’ database. We have used it in other litigations, but have especially found it extremely helpful with our Camp Lejeune Inventory. I’ve tried so many different programs over the years, and all of them tend to have issues at scale. Most provide the basic needs of a database to store and retrieve information, but in a complex mass tort litigation with literally hundreds of potential inputs, other programs get cumbersome with just information retrieval, before even getting to data analysis.”
C. Arthur "Brother" Rutter III

“Since integrating SimplyConvert into our operations, we have been able to expand our practice without increasing our team size, and we are managing a higher volume of cases without sacrificing the personalized attention that our clients deserve.”
